What Does Tuition Cover?

• Weekly vocal instruction by knowledgeable, qualified, and background checked teachers who are dedicated to your success
• Music literacy and piano instruction* are also included during lessons
• All sheet music and books required for lessons
• Access to My Music Staff for resources and lesson notes
• Free admission to certain events/workshops hosted by Authentic Voice Music Studio
• Tuition students are also able to use the studio to record self-tape auditions at no additional charge

*piano instruction may not be incorporated in all lessons depending on the age/goals of the student

What does a regular voice lesson look like?

There is no “one size fits all” approach to vocal instruction, so each lesson is catered to the unique needs of each student. Some of the things that may be covered include:

• Warm ups/vocal exercises
• Learning how to build a healthy voice routine
• Technique in repertoire
• Performance techniques
• Music proficiency
• Body work to release tension
• Anything else that helps you to reach your goals!

Do you offer make up lessons when a student is unable to attend?

Our studio is not able to meet requests to reschedule missed lessons, however we do have multiple options to make sure that our students are able to continue progressing when they are unable to attend their lessons.

Virtual lessons are always an option, so if a student is traveling or unable to make it to the studio they can still meet with the teacher during their regular lesson time.

If virtual lessons are not an option, students also have the option to ask for a video lesson to be created and sent to them by their teacher. Students can make requests for specific content for example: a warm-up sequence, a deeper explanation of a new concept, or a breakdown of a new song they are working on. This can be a wonderful way for students to continue to grow in their studies when they are unable to attend their lesson at its scheduled time.

*Please note that these requests must be made in advance of the missed lesson.

What if the lesson options do not fit my needs?

We know that each student is unique, which is why our program has a range of different levels of instruction to suit the individual needs of each student. We’ve developed this structure based on the learning and developmental needs of different age groups. Our specialty is voice, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
